Mission Trip to Kentucky - June 14 through June 19
A Mission Team from Edgefield First Baptist Church is preparing to travel to Kentucky to share the Gospel in one of the poorest areas of the United States. In partnership with Youth on Mission the team will leave for Corbin, Kentucky, on Saturday, June 14, 2009. They will be staying at the Laurel Lake Baptist Camp in Corbin.
As with all Mission Trips, plans change daily as needs arise or are discovered. At this time the team plans on hosting Backyard Bible Clubs in neighborhoods for children. Other members of the team will be making small home repairs.
On Thursday, June 18, 2009, the team will participate in a foot-washing and shoe giveaway in association with Samaritan's Feet. They have been told to expect between 700 and 800 children.
Please be in prayer for this trip.

Vacation Bible School - June 8 through June 12
EFBC is hosting its annual Vacation Bible School from June 8, 2009 through June 12, 2009 at the church. Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend. It's a great time for fun, fellowship and learning about Jesus Christ through singing, classes, crafts and other activities.
